Location

The meeting will be held at the Seminaris Campus Hotel, Takustrasse 39, Berlin-Dahlem.

How to get there

By plane: several companies serve Berlin's airports daily, among them Air Berlin, Lufthansa, Ryan Air, Easyjet, German Wings, etc. The two Berlin airports, Tegel and Schoenefeld, are very well connected by public transport.

By train: almost all the trains arrive and leave Berlin through its central station (Berlin Hauptbahnof) close to the Reichstag and at the heart of Berlin. More info about the German railway system can be found here (Information in English are also available).

Once in Berlin , you can reach the conference using public transport network. The closest U-Bahn (subway) station is Dahlem-Dorf and is just 350 meters from the Seminar center. Timetable information and maps of subways, buses and trams can be found at the BVG website. Taxis are cheap compared to others European capitals. A ride from the Schoenefeld airport costs about 30-40 euros, from Tegel airport about 20-30 euros. If you plan to do less than 3 km you can stop a Taxi on the fly and ask for a "Kurze Strecke", it will cost only 4 euros.

Beyond the conference

For those interested in going out for a beer, it may be interesting to take a look at Oranienstrasse in the Kreuzberg district, Akazienstrasse in the Schöneberg district, or again Bergmannstrasse in Kreuzberg. Here it is possible to find several options for drinking, eating and enjoying a bit of the famous Berlin nightlife.
