Accommodation

Participants will be accommodated in Hotel Griff in single/double/triple-bed rooms, preferences regarding roommates should be given at registration.

Accommodation is covered by the organisation for four nights only. Everyone staying longer than that will have to cover the expenses themselves. If you attend the whole conference and leave on Friday, it means you will have to pay one night yourself. The fares for a single night are around 25-30 euros.

There is also a small "tourist tax" (about 1.5 euros per day) that will be included in the hotel bill, that has to be covered by the participants. 

Buffet breakfast will be provided by the hotel, WIFI is available in the lobby.

How to reach the Hotel from the airport: 

you can either take a taxi or a bus, more information at the airport website. For the bus, you need to buy a one-ride ticket. The bus arrives at Kőbánya-Kispest. At this point we suggest buying a 7-day travel card which would be valid for the whole conference (in case you are wondering no, it is not possible to buy it at the airport).

Then you need to take metro line 3 and get off at Kálvin square, then change to tram 49 towards Danube. The tram stops by the hotel: get off at Szent Gellért templom. 

How to reach the Hotel from the university (or viceversa): take tram 19 or 49 towards the Danube and get off at Gárdonyi tér or Szent Gellért tér.

How to reach the Hotel during the night: the night bus 918 has a stop at Szent Gellért templom. This line arrives at the city center.
